ESPRIT de PARIS® Dijon Mustard is packed in tins to preserve the freshness of the product. In the culinary arts, the word Dijon refers to a style of prepared mustard that originates in the city of Dijon in the eastern part of France. The traditional Dijon mustard recipe includes white wine and ground black or brown mustard seeds along with salt and other spices. In smooth (or traditional) version mustard seeds will be ground to a smooth paste and the husk particles removed in a fine sieve. Our spicy hot Dijon mustard is perfect for use on sandwiches, as a baste, in sauces and vinaigrettes. It is also especially good with meat and fish.
